German Engineering/American Pride!
Hohner Marine Band Model 1896 Harmonica Key of D Major. The Condition is "Seller Refurbished." Comes with original
Hohner
box.
🎼 This sale is for a very nice, refurbished
HOHNER Marine Band 1896
harmonica in the Key of D Major.
🎼This post WW2 Marine Bands diatonic harmonica plays out great. It has the 7 hole (preferred to 6 hole) bottom plate. If you want to own a nice, vintage D harp that is 40 - 50 years old, this is a great choice!
Much love, care and time are put into my craft. I believe you will find it hugely worth a bit more to have one of these legendary instruments. .
*********************************
The most legendary & greatest perfomers in recording history largely use or used a Hohner Marine Band 1896.
🎼 My harmonicas must be lightly played during my testing and setup process. When it plays well, it's partially disassembled for a final alcohol cleaning.
It will arrive at your home sanitized and playable (not broken), and 100% free of virus & bacterial biohazard, bronchial irritant risk!
Condition:
This harmonica is in excellent shape all around. It plays great and looks great!!
**There may be minor physical imperfections as the instrument is refurbished;
not new.
I shoot for the best all around condition in candidates for refurbishing. There's some real rough stuff out there folks!
**" The last photo is typical of the results of my refurbishing process. As you can see, the plates most particularly are near immaculate. I'm very pleased with these results and I'm confident you will be pleased with your vintage Marine Band harp relieved of decades of all things nasty. Lol! 50 ish years of it.....
Abour your health:
Used wind instruments (like harps) sell all day just a few dollars cheaper, but
most are a healthrisk!!
They may contain things like Black Mold, rust, dust, Asbestos, Nicotine, hardened saliva to name a handful of nasty possibilities and/or probabilities as to what will be found in most as found and unserviced harmonicas. You haven't a clue what you're really buying in any harp besides either a refurbished unit or else a new one.
Buyer Beware
: The plethora of used, as found harps you will find on eBay or anywhere for nearly the same price as mine may have hidden mechanical failures like broken or misaligned reeds. The saliva weight on the reeds inside throws the tuning off as well. I know this all too well because I buy them all the time.
I take the risk involved for you!!
Summary:
If you want the security of buying a quality instrument looked over by someone with 40 years experience in various music instrument care & repair; please try my item.
